Pax herbal Salmoline via the bioactive phytoconstituents (Limonene, Nomiline, Ichangin, Naringin) disrupt microbial membrane integrity thereby affecting the membrane potential and also permeabilize inner membrane of microorganisms.
Absorption, Distribution, and Metabolism:
Oral administration of Pax herbal Salmoline is rapidly and almost completely absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. Ingestion resulted in an excretion of 83 percent of the dose in the urine within 48 hours.
Pax herbal Salmoline is rapidly distributed to different tissues in the body and is readily metabolized. Pax herbal Salmoline and/or its metabolites are detectable in serum, liver, lung, kidney, and many other tissues, with higher concentrations detected in adipose tissue and mammary gland than in less fatty tissues. The half-life of d-limonene in humans has been estimated to be 12- 24 hours, and excretion occurs primarily through the urine. In humans, the predominant circulating metabolites are perillic acid, dihydroperillic acid, and limonene-1- ,2-diol.
Salmoline is rapidly and completely absorbed from the GIT after oral administration, high plasma level for few minutes after administration followed. However, the phytochemical composition of Salmoline inturns exhibit antibacterial, antiparasitic and antifungal effect observed after administration of the drug. Excretion of unused components and conjugated components occurs via various excretory organs of the body.
Not to be used by peptic ulcer patients.
Paxherbal Salmoline POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Adult: 60ml (2 caps) trice daily
Children (> 15 years): 30ml (a cap) trice daily

After the first use:
Bio-chemical and physical in-use stability has been demonstrated for 3 months at 25 °C. From a microbiological point of view the product should be used uninterruptedly as prescribed. If not used immediately, in-use storage times and conditions prior to use are the responsibility of the user.
Rats and rabbits studies show that PAXHERBAL SALMOLINE is not toxic at recommended dose. 2000 persons who bought and used the product in accordance with manufacturer’s recommended dosage showed no adverse symptoms.
